Responsibilities
- Implement and advise on the National Disaster Recovery Support (NDRS) and National Disaster Recovery Framework (NDRF) regarding geospatial and data issues in disaster recovery operations.
- Provide maps and data products using ESRI products, Excel, PowerBI, Tableau, Python, R, and SQL.
- Coordinate GIS and data activities and requests for internal and external partners.
Requirements
- Experience in providing geospatial data analysis for pre-disaster conditions, disaster impacts, and post-disaster recovery.
- Understanding of geographic terms and map projections.
- Utilization of GIS technology to solve complex analytical problems related to community recovery.
