About the position

The Test Automation Engineer role is focused on developing and implementing automated testing solutions for various applications, including mobile and API services. This position requires a strong background in Python and experience with performance testing tools, as well as the ability to work in a hybrid environment, attending the office at least two days a week.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python.
• Perform API automation testing for REST and SOAP services.
• Conduct mobile automation testing for Android and iOS applications.
• Execute performance and capacity tests using JMeter, primarily for backend services.
• Debug server-side issues as they arise during testing.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Bamboo, or Codefresh.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Python programming language.
• Experience with API automation testing (REST and SOAP).
• Knowledge of mobile automation testing for both Android and iOS platforms.
• Familiarity with performance testing tools, specifically JMeter.
• Strong server-side debugging skills.
• Basic understanding of Linux operating system.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo, or Codefresh.
