About the position

The NBCUniversal Internship Program offers students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the media, entertainment, and technology sectors. Interns will contribute to significant projects while developing their skills in a supportive and dynamic environment. This program is designed for students who are eager to learn and make meaningful contributions during their internship period.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to big projects in meaningful ways that matter.
• Assist in producing high-quality video content for local television markets.
• Gain experience with writing, producing, and editing bilingual videos for digital and social platforms.
• Create compelling digital ads for the NBCU Local portfolio.
• Edit text on screen videos and provide research assistance for producers.

Requirements

• Must be actively enrolled in a degree-granting program at an accredited institution during the entire duration of the program.
• Current class standing of sophomore or above (30 credits).
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States without requiring work visa sponsorship.
• Willingness to work in Universal City, CA.

Nice-to-haves

• Students with class standing of junior or above preferred.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
• Background in Journalism, Communications, Production, English, Digital Media, or Marketing.
• Strong interest in the media industry.
• Ability to multitask and highly organized.
