About the position

The NBCUniversal Internship Program offers students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the media, entertainment, and technology sectors. Interns will contribute to significant projects while developing their skills in a supportive environment. This program is designed for students who are passionate about media and eager to learn, providing a platform to unlock their potential and prepare for future careers in the industry.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to big projects in meaningful ways that matter.
• Work closely with teams in various departments such as Audience Development, Marketing, Research, Digital, and Creative Services.
• Assist in analyzing audience data and building sales insights.
• Engage in diverse projects involving brand management and marketing strategies.
• Support the development and release of digital products across multiple platforms.
• Create motion graphics for video deliverables and assist in graphic projects.

Requirements

• Must be actively enrolled in a degree-granting program at an accredited institution during the entire duration of the program (June 2025 through August 2025).
• Current class standing of sophomore or above (30 credits).
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States without requiring work visa sponsorship.
• Strong interest in the media industry and commitment to building an inclusive work environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
• Background in Journalism, Communications, Advertising, Production, English, Digital Media, or Marketing.
• Previous internship experience within a corporate setting.
• Fluency in Spanish (written and verbal) is a plus.
• Familiarity with social media platforms, Final Cut Pro, Adobe Creative Cloud, AP Style writing, HTML, and CSS.
