Responsibilities

• Consult with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
• Utilize machines to measure patients' heart rate, blood pressure, breathing rate, blood oxygen levels, and electrocardiogram information.
• Prepare, administer, and record prescribed medications, reporting any adverse reactions in accordance with policies.
• Prepare equipment and assist physicians during examinations and treatments of patients.
• Identify irregular telemetry readings and notify the appropriate medical team member.
• Monitor specialized equipment used on patients and interpret electronic displays.

Requirements

• Current RN License
• Ability to create and manage care plans
• Entry-level experience in telemetry nursing
