About the position

The Project Manager for Oracle Fusion HCM/Payroll Implementation will oversee a multi-year engagement focused on the implementation and management of the Oracle Cloud Fusion HR module. This role is critical in ensuring that the HR needs of the organization are effectively met through comprehensive project management, stakeholder coordination, and system integration. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Oracle ERP and project management, with a focus on human capital management.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the coordination of a large-scale program or multiple complex delivery projects.
  • Lead and direct major projects, initiatives, functional groups, or large project teams.
  • Coordinate with various stakeholders including HR teams, IT departments, and external consultants to ensure alignment and collaboration.
  • Develop comprehensive program and project plans, including resources, deliverables, and timing.
  • Accountable for delivering the initiative plan from conception to implementation.
  • Shape and lead programs that translate results from business diagnosis and planning into transformation programs/system integration projects.
  • Guide teams to address the right problems efficiently and effectively, applying insights from diverse projects and prior system implementations.
  • Develop and articulate points of view and thought leadership with client executives.
  • Identify and prioritize value creation opportunities based on assessment activities and an understanding of client visions and performance gaps.
  • Engage with HR stakeholders to gather and document requirements for managing workforce processes.
  • Oversee the customization and configuration of the HR module to align with organizational needs.
  • Develop test plans and manage the testing process to ensure the HR module functions as expected.
  • Organize and oversee training programs for HR staff and end-users.
  • Plan and execute the migration of existing HR data into the new system.
  • Provide ongoing support to users post-implementation and monitor system performance.

Requirements

  • 10 to 15 years of experience with Oracle ERP, including at least 5 years of Oracle Fusion implementation experience in Human Capital Management (HCM), Payroll, and Benefits.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • Understanding of HR processes and best practices, including talent management, payroll, and employee relations.
  • Familiarity with Oracle Cloud Fusion HR functionalities and integration capabilities.
  • Strong communication skills to engage with stakeholders across different departments.
  • Problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve issues during implementation.

  • Experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Asana, or Jira.
