About the position
As a Local Truck Driver CDL A Route Delivery for TransDirectUSA, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and safe delivery of products within a 45-mile radius of Greenville, SC. This position is designed for individuals who value home time, as you will be home daily with no overnight trips. The job entails driving a CDL truck to transport products, specifically blast-resistant containers, to various customer locations. You will be responsible for making 3-6 stops per day, ensuring that deliveries are made efficiently and effectively. The work schedule is primarily Monday through Friday, with start times that typically vary between early morning hours. You will work until the day's deliveries are completed, which may require flexibility in your schedule based on business needs. The company emphasizes the importance of customer service, and you will be expected to provide excellent service during your deliveries. Additionally, you will be responsible for checking the mechanical aspects of the vehicle and reporting any maintenance or repair issues that arise with the tractors and trailers. Training for this position will take place in Wichita, KS, for a duration of two weeks, with all expenses covered by the company.
