About the position

Responsibilities

• Generate story ideas and conduct research for news reports.
• Set up, write, and produce content in the field.
• Conduct interviews and report live on multiple newscasts and platforms.
• Consistently produce enterprise content for digital and broadcast.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a television reporter, preferably in a large market.
• Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, or a related major.
• Strong writing and storytelling skills with an exceptional on-camera presence.
• Effective self-starter with proven ability to generate and produce news stories.
• Knowledge of non-linear editing and shooting preferred.

Nice-to-haves

• Bilingual skills preferred.
• Experience utilizing social media as newsgathering/reporting tools.
• Knowledge of the tri-state area.
