About the position
Visiting Angels of Pottstown is seeking compassionate and reliable in-home caregivers to provide essential care to seniors in Montgomery, Chester, and Berks Counties. This role offers flexible scheduling options, allowing caregivers to choose their own hours while making a meaningful impact in the lives of their clients. Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and companionship to seniors in their homes.
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients' health conditions.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license and insured automobile required.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience in caregiving is a plus but not required.
- Ability to pass criminal background checks and drug screening.
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in senior care is preferred but not mandatory.
