Stake Center Locating is seeking entry-level Utility Locators (Field Technicians) to locate underground utilities, troubleshoot issues, and mark the ground to promote damage prevention. This role involves outdoor work in various weather conditions and requires problem-solving skills. Responsibilities

• Locate underground utilities using provided equipment and technology.
• Document and process tickets using a laptop computer.
• Read maps and interpret blueprints to determine the best locating methods.
• Communicate effectively with peers, managers, and homeowners.
• Prioritize safety in all work activities.

Requirements

• Must be eighteen years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to walk up to 5 miles a day 2-3 times a week.
• Ability to carry up to 5 lbs of electronic locating equipment for extended periods; lift objects up to 25 lbs or more with tool aids.
• Pass pre-employment background and drug screening.
