About the position

The Location Manager for Agronomy, Propane, and Fuel Facility at Agriland FS is a leadership role focused on managing operations and driving business goals at a retail facility. The position involves developing a team, improving efficiency, and ensuring exceptional customer service while overseeing the facility's operational functions.

Responsibilities

• Manage the operational function and team at assigned facility
• Lead facility in achieving CTO goals by improving efficiency, developing people and offering premier customer service
• Utilize CTO to make business decisions
• Dispatch products and services to meet the needs of customers
• Recruit & develop team members to improve operations and reduce turnover
• Schedule maintenance of facility and equipment
• Maintain inventory and facilitate distribution of products
• Supervise both full-time and part-time operations personnel; lead team meetings
• Assist in determining location asset needs and developing the location budget
• Collaborate with Operations Manager on all safety and compliance issues and other locations to improve business efficiencies

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in an agriculture-related field or 5 years experience in management
• Management experience must include examples of the development of others, business improvement and customer engagement
• Understanding of basic business principles of inventory and expense control
• Good mechanical aptitude
• Needs to understand and be able to learn to operate all equipment at facility
• Exhibits solid organizational skills with the ability to meet multiple deadlines
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Experience in leading safety and business improvement strategies
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Class A CDL with Hazmat Endorsements
