About the position

The Location Manager is responsible for overseeing the operations of a retail or commercial location, ensuring effective management of staff, customer service, and operational efficiency. This role involves developing action plans to improve performance, supervising personnel, managing payroll, and maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist management with developing and implementing action plans to improve operating results.
• Supervise store personnel and ensure their training, development, and performance.
• Establish and communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to the team.
• Discipline staff when necessary and manage payroll.
• Resolve internal or external barriers to successful goal achievement.
• Consult with leadership on team strategy development.
• Ensure appropriate resolution of operational customer concerns in management's absence.
• Identify and rectify hazards to ensure a safe environment for employees, customers, and vendors.
• Take inventory counts and assist management with maintaining proper stock levels.
• Establish and manage delivery schedules and night call rotations.
• Work with sales staff to enhance customer service.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Assist management with achieving store payroll and budget.
• Drive projects and tasks to completion through effective prioritization and collaboration.
• Provide prompt and courteous customer service.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED.
• Job experience in the automotive industry and knowledge to manage a large retail or commercial location.
• Flexible schedule to cover store hours.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license.
• Strong work ethic and customer service skills.
• High level of professional integrity.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
