About the position

As an Operations Manager within Lockbox at Eastern Bank, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the daily production and workflow of Lockbox services. This position emphasizes prioritization, quality of work, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. You will assist in program testing, project management, reporting, and ensuring that client experiences meet regulatory and service standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage and direct the daily processing of Lockbox work, ensuring accurate and timely service in compliance with internal policies and customer requirements.
• Enhance transactional processing flows, increase productivity, and drive efficiency through effective management activities.
• Develop and implement operational procedures and policies, managing day-to-day work queues for accurate servicing and financial controls.
• Oversee staff coaching, development, and training, setting goals and evaluating performance through effective meetings.
• Engage with inter-divisional peers to evaluate processes holistically and maintain alignment with ERM and Audit activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in client services with a focus on customer service excellence.
• Effective communication, management, and leadership skills.
• High-speed transactional keying and balancing skills, with an aptitude for reconciliation.
• Knowledge of Sox Controls or a standardized control framework.
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite and capable of data extraction and analysis.
