This is a noncustomer/client facing, fast-paced production-based environment. This is a secured facility that manually processes payments at 3180 S Rider Trail. You will work within strict deadlines in a fast-paced production environment. You will perform a variety of routine tasks within multiple operational systems and interact with multiple internal partners. Certain positions will require the ability to move trays and carts of work, stand or sit for extended periods of time, and repetitive motions. Current Schedule: 3:30p - 12:00a, Wednesday - Sunday. An additional 10% shift premium applies while working this schedule. If hired, you'll need to attend a 2-week training of a schedule, Monday - Friday, second shift hours. In this role, you will be responsible for high-level data entry, keying payments and supplemental documents for multiple accounts, processing payments for remittance banking clients, and operating a falcon machine to scan payments and documents into our system. This cross-functional position provides production support to multiple groups within Operations Services or enterprise-wide. You will execute a variety of routine tasks within multiple operational systems and interact with multiple internal partners. Duties may include functions related to transaction processing, data entry, archiving, researching, machine troubleshooting, and vendor/client interaction over the phone or email. You may have direct contact with third-party vendors and/or external customers, researching exceptions and escalating issues to management as appropriate. You may also have the opportunity to recommend and implement developed processing improvements within production. Additional job functions include preparing physical items for processing on capture devices, performing data perfection/data entry on deposit transactions that require correction, filing/retrieving items as needed, balancing tasks, and other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • High-level data entry, keying payments and supplemental documents for multiple accounts (90% primary function)
  • Process payments for remittance banking clients consisting of corporations or large organizations; process internal payments for credit cards, lines of credit, loans, leases, and mortgage accounts for U.S. Bank.
  • Operate falcon machine by scanning payments and supplemental documents into our system to process.
  • Execute a variety of routine tasks within multiple operational systems and interact with multiple internal partners.
  • Research exceptions and escalate issues to management as appropriate.
  • Prepare physical items for processing on capture devices.
  • Perform data perfection/data entry on deposit transactions that require correction.
  • File/retrieve items as needed and balance tasks.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One to two years of related work experience
  • Thorough knowledge of applicable bank and department policies, procedures, products and support systems
  • Proven commitment to high quality customer service
  • Ability to work well with external and internal customers
  • Good time management skills to maximize production and execution of tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to identify, analyze and resolve exceptions through data interpretation
  • Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages including Microsoft Office applications
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
