About the position

Join Adecco and discover a rewarding career opportunity as a Lockbox Operations Specialist! This exciting position involves processing cash received through image capture, logging it, recording it, and securely storing it. You will operate low-speed machinery to re-scan rejected check items and utilize desktop scanners to rescan batches, inserting necessary pages into imaged batches. The role requires you to restructure batches as needed and manage multiple queues, making independent decisions on client exception items while monitoring and acting on check encoding queues. Additionally, you will be responsible for pulling originals for rejected transactions and performing print retrieval, reassociation, and mailing of client packages, although this is infrequent. As a Lockbox Operations Specialist, you will batch and prepare non-image cash letters for shipment and distribute received merchandise. You will also utilize the Outbound Mail system for labeling closed mail and merchandise, as well as for address labeling of foreign items. Meeting client deadlines for decisions on transactions requiring client input is crucial, as is responding to customer service requests for timely retrieval of retained documents. You will ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, including HIPAA and PCI standards, and proactively identify and manage risk by leveraging the established Risk Framework. This role offers competitive compensation at $18.00 per hour, with the potential to convert to a permanent position after the contract period is completed.
