About the position

As a Lockbox Processor within PNC's AR Advantage Operations Group, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient processing of remittances. This position is based in Cleveland, OH, and involves a variety of tasks centered around the extraction and data entry of payment information. Your primary duty will be to key invoice information accurately for our customers, which is essential for maintaining the integrity of our financial operations. You will be responsible for opening envelopes to determine the intended payment box, scanning receivables payments on behalf of PNC's clients, and replacing transactions with barcoded documents. This role requires you to operate a scanning device, which may involve standing or sitting, and placing documents on a conveyor belt for processing. In this position, you will extract remittances based on standard operating procedures and maintain specific productivity and quality levels. You will process and reconcile transactions in accordance with established policies and procedures, ensuring that the appropriate materials, documentation, and capacity are available to complete transactions. Additionally, you will confirm that equipment is operational and provide feedback on workflow and work received. A critical aspect of your role will be to review transactions and related documents, verifying work processes to ensure completeness, accuracy, and adherence to established service levels and applicable policies and procedures. Responsibilities

  • Key invoice information for customers accurately.
  • Open envelopes to determine the intended payment box.

  • Operate a scanning device, either standing or seated, and place documents on a conveyor belt.

Requirements

  • No degree required; high school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Prior experience is not required; a comparable combination of education, job-specific certifications, and experience may be accepted.
  • Demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Familiarity with operational functions and standard operating procedures.
