About the position

The Lockbox Specialist at Old National Bank is responsible for processing confidential customer information and ensuring accurate data entry based on client specifications. This part-time role involves monitoring workflow, executing client deadlines, and collaborating with various banking departments to enhance client experiences. The position requires strong attention to detail, basic computer skills, and effective communication abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Extract remittance payments according to client processing instructions.
  • Validate transactions and perform data entry functions to ensure accurate processing.
  • Monitor workflow and execution of client deadlines.
  • Create, process, and send out reports for wholesale and retail lockbox clients using remittance software.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and develop new workflows to enhance client experience.
  • Safeguard confidential information for financial privacy and HIPAA compliance.
  • File necessary documents, coupons, and check storage.
  • Provide backup support to other areas within Operations as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 - 3 years banking experience in a back-office operations environment preferred but not required.
  • Basic computer and typing skills, along with proficiency in 10-key typing.
  • Attention to detail and ability to perform well under pressure.
