About the position

The Locksmith position at Orlando Health is responsible for managing all aspects of locks and keys within the healthcare system. This role ensures the security and integrity of locked areas, maintains the Master Key system, and collaborates with the Security Department to address key-related matters. The locksmith will also handle repairs and installations of various locks, ensuring compliance with organizational policies.

Responsibilities

• Installs and maintains the locked and secured areas throughout the corporate system.
• Maintains the integrity of the Master Key system and the security of all narcotics keys and locks.
• Practices strict key control to ensure the security of all departments throughout the organization.
• Opens all types of locks, makes keys by impression, removes broken keys, and repairs various locks found on doors, cabinets, and credenzas.
• Handles the needs and security of all department moves.
• Orders and maintains all materials and supplies related to lock pinning.
• Maintains records, forms, and reports which track the changes of all facility locks.
• Works with the Security Department and customers in all key-related matters.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Four (4) years of locksmith experience.
