About the position
Vetted Locums is seeking Locum Internal Medicine/Internist Physicians for immediate nationwide opportunities. These contracts are for 13 weeks and offer competitive pay rates ranging from $360 to $400 per hour. The role involves providing critical care interventions, managing acute and chronic pain, and maintaining accurate patient records. Physicians will have access to top hospitals and healthcare systems, with dedicated support for application and assignment processes.
Responsibilities
- Participate in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
- Provide trauma stabilization and critical care interventions.
- Diagnose and deliver acute and chronic pain management.
- Stay current with new techniques, technology, and medications related to Emergency Medicine practice.
- Maintain accurate and complete patient records and documentation.
Requirements
- An active and unencumbered medical license in the state of employment.
- No flagged or under investigation licenses.
- Prior Locums experience preferable.
- Clinical expertise and technical proficiency in administering Internal Medicine/Internist.
- Critical thinking and effective decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with the surgical team.
- Attention to detail and adaptability to changing patient conditions.
