About the position
This locum tenens opportunity is for an Obstetrics/Gynecologist in Sylva, North Carolina. The role involves providing comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care, including clinic visits and deliveries, while ensuring patient safety and satisfaction. The position requires an active state license and board certification or eligibility, with a focus on patient care in both clinic and hospital settings.
Responsibilities
- Provide obstetric and gynecological care in a clinic setting.
- Manage patient load of approximately 15 patients per day.
- Perform deliveries, including C-sections and basic office procedures.
- Participate in call coverage as required.
- Ensure proper credentialing and compliance with medical standards.
Requirements
- Active state medical license in North Carolina.
- Board Certified (BC) or Board Eligible (BE) in Obstetrics/Gynecology.
- Experience in managing deliveries and performing C-sections.
- Ability to handle basic office procedures.
