About the position

As a Sales Lead at LOFT, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer experiences while supporting and guiding your fellow associates. Your primary focus will be on creating personalized interactions that resonate with customers, ensuring they feel valued and understood. You will be a key team member, collaborating closely with the Store Manager to master store operations and stepping into a managerial role when necessary. This position is not just about sales; it's about fostering a positive and inclusive environment where both customers and associates can thrive. In this role, you will represent the LOFT brand by modeling behaviors that enhance the customer experience. You will assist store leaders in onboarding new team members and developing a highly engaged workforce. Your efforts will contribute to maintaining the highest visual and operational standards, all while keeping the customer at the forefront of every decision. You will utilize various tools to cultivate a customer-focused team environment, driving profitability and ensuring a seamless shopping experience across all channels. Your responsibilities will also include providing real-time feedback and coaching to associates, helping them excel in their customer interactions. Building productive relationships within the team will be essential, as you will share ideas and support one another in achieving store goals. Additionally, you will leverage technology to stay updated on company priorities and promotions, ensuring that customers receive the best possible service.

Responsibilities

  • Model personalized customer experience behaviors as a representative of the brand.
  • Assist store leaders with onboarding and developing an effective, highly engaged team.
  • Support an inclusive store environment for associates where everyone feels welcome and engaged.
  • Uphold the highest visual and operational standards while keeping the focus on the customer.
  • Use tools to drive a customer-focused team environment and profitable business.
  • Provide in-the-moment feedback and coaching to associates for improved customer interactions.
  • Build productive relationships by sharing ideas and supporting the team.
  • Utilize technology to stay informed on company priorities and promotions, providing customers with a seamless omnichannel shopping experience.
  • Seamlessly step into the role of manager when needed.

Requirements

  • 6 months of retail sales experience (preferred)
  • Management experience (preferred)
  • Proficient in technology and ability to operate a point-of-sale system
  • Enjoys communicating and coaching
  • Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Takes initiative in making thoughtful decisions
  • Ability to organize, delegate, and prioritize assignments to stay on top of deadlines.
