About the position

The Loft PT Sales Lead Manager at Knitwell Group is responsible for providing exceptional client services and supporting the operational functions of the store. This role includes acting as the Manager on Duty in the absence of a manager, handling client service issues, and performing various operational and transactional functions. The Sales Lead will also support the Store Manager and Co-Manager in driving revenue and ensuring a client-focused team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional client services and support the operational functions of the store.
  • Act as the Manager on Duty in the absence of a manager.
  • Handle client service issues and perform operational and transactional functions.
  • Issue approvals for desk transactions and manage store opening and closing procedures.
  • Support the business strategy and adjust to effectively reach goals.
  • Drive revenue by managing the client experience and performing Manager On Duty responsibilities.
  • Utilize tools to ensure a client-focused team environment.
  • Coach associates on client interactions and performance to maximize productivity.
  • Perform opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and bank deposits.
  • Utilize reports to make effective merchandising decisions and maintain store standards.
  • Ensure optimal coverage and productivity in all areas of the store through appropriate scheduling.
  • Complete daily tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly and meets all standards and guidelines.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum six months Sales Associate experience with ANN INC. or equivalent experience with another retailer.
  • Part-time or full-time managerial experience preferred.
  • Ability to organize, delegate, prioritize assignments, and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of visual standards and techniques for merchandising.
  • Ability to handle cash accurately and prepare nightly deposits.
  • Effective communication skills with clients and team members.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
  • Physical ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds occasionally.
