About the position

The Dynatrace Log Management and Analytics - Solutions Engineer will play a crucial role in supporting the sales team in Latin America by providing technical expertise in log management and analytics. This position involves executing product demonstrations, managing proof of concepts (POCs), and building relationships with customers to address their needs effectively. The Solutions Engineer will collaborate with various teams within Dynatrace to enhance customer experiences and drive sales opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Evangelize Dynatrace's product offerings during international trade shows and key customer meetings.
• Partner with sales representatives to identify new and incremental sales opportunities.
• Participate in proof of concept (PoC) creation and cloud architecture discussions.
• Present Dynatrace's vision to C-suite executives of customers.
• Provide technical guidance during the Discovery, Solution Evaluation, and Solution Proposal stages of the sales cycle.
• Deliver on-stage demonstrations at marketing events and ensure key demonstrations are executed effectively.
• Gather and provide customer feedback to Product Management for market improvement.
• Build best practices and share knowledge within the team to enhance capabilities.
• Work with local Sales and Sales Engineering leadership to identify learning and development opportunities.
• Create and modify Dynatrace template presentations to meet customer demands.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent education or experience.
• 3+ years of experience in log management and analytics with tools like Splunk, Elastic, or Sumo Logic.
• Trilingual or bilingual in English and Spanish or Portuguese.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with query languages such as SQL, SPL, or KQL.
• Familiarity with observability and log collectors like FluentBit, OpenTelemetry, Cribl, and Logstash.
• Knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with programming/scripting languages like Java, .NET, PHP, Go, Node.js.
• Advanced knowledge of Operating Systems including Windows and Linux.
• Experience with DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering practices.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with modern technologies like containers, Kubernetes/OpenShift, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with automation tools like Ansible, Puppet, Terraform.
