About the position

The Logistics Account Manager II at DB Schenker is responsible for developing business logistics services for a portfolio of customer accounts. This role involves responding to the total freight and logistics requirements of customers, negotiating pricing, and managing customer relationships. The individual will have the autonomy to accept or decline business opportunities and will work towards achieving monthly individual goals that contribute to the branch's overall performance.

Responsibilities

• Develop business with clients, negotiate pricing, and assess service regularly.
• Monitor and assess customer portfolio, strengthening relationships with existing customers and finding new customers.
• Leverage brokerage pricing techniques and market knowledge to secure business and build a customer portfolio.
• Assess risk and recommend solutions to guard against unforeseen risks to the company.
• Support carrier management duties as needed by the business.
• Attain monthly individual goals to meet or exceed branch AOP.

Requirements

• BA in Business Management, Logistics, or a related discipline, or a combination of education and logistics expertise, or customer service/sales experience.
• Experience in supply chain, logistics, transportation, or a related field.
• Advanced communication (written and verbal), organizational, and problem-solving skills.
