About the position

The Logistics Admin Office Assistant at Ta Chen International is responsible for providing administrative support in a fast-paced logistics environment. This role involves data entry, order processing, customer service, and effective communication with vendors and customers. The assistant will work closely with the Operations Manager and office staff to ensure smooth operations and timely completion of tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Perform data entry and order processing tasks.
  • Provide customer service and communicate effectively with customers and coworkers.
  • Use a multi-line phone system for communication.
  • Handle invoicing and appointment scheduling.
  • Track and coordinate shipping and receiving activities.
  • Process new orders and maintain accurate reports and files.
  • Resolve issues and discrepancies as they arise.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • 2 years of experience in logistics preferred.
  • 2 years of experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with customers and coworkers.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Capability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks.
