Logistics Administrative Assistant FULL TIME

About the position

The Warehouse Laborer position at Herr Foods Inc. involves providing essential support in a fast-paced environment, focusing on administrative tasks, customer service, and maintaining a safe and organized workspace. The role requires physical stamina and the ability to handle various warehouse responsibilities while ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level administrative support by conducting research and preparing statistical reports.
• Handle information requests and perform clerical functions such as preparing correspondence.
• Receive visitors and manage shipping and receiving documentation.
• Track metrics and KPIs related to warehouse operations.
• Create and modify loads and paperwork in the D365 ERP System.
• Prepare invoices, reports, memos, letters, and financial statements using systems software.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area by performing general housekeeping duties.
• Communicate professionally with employees, managers, visitors, and customers.
• Serve as the point of contact for logistical inquiries regarding shipments and inventory levels.
• Track and update metrics including warehouse bonuses and vacation requests.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to work in wet and/or humid conditions, extreme cold, and extreme heat.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, high places, and fumes or airborne particles.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
