The position supports the United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) by performing various logistic management activities. This includes tasks such as receiving, posting, issuing, inventorying, and disposing of assets. The role requires a solid understanding of asset research, cross-referencing, identification, stock record building, property inventory, redistribution, and property management. The individual will be responsible for accurate data entry into the Department of Defense (DoD) Logistics Information Systems (LIS) and maintaining required records within the assigned LIS. This includes executing asset transactions and applying basic supply management principles while adhering to regulatory requirements related to stock control, receipt, storage, issue, inventory, and accountability. The position also involves life cycle sustainment activities and logistics-related duties in support of the project. In addition to data entry, the role requires performing data cleansing, analysis, reconciliation, and stock record maintenance within the assigned Accountability Property System of Records (APSR). The individual will manage Department of Defense Activity Address Code (DoDAAC) and Unit Identification Code (UIC) support within logistics systems to ensure electronic legitimacy and data integrity. The position also involves composing and preparing various logistic-related correspondences and solving identification issues using critical thinking, experience, and research skills. Furthermore, the individual will prepare and present oral and/or written technical reports and project presentations, including metrics, to senior management regarding project status.
