About the position

As a Logistics Analyst at Weiman Products LLC, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our supply chain operations through advanced data analysis and effective vendor management. This position is hybrid, based in Gurnee, Illinois, and is part of PurposeBuilt Brands, a company with a rich legacy in crafting high-quality products for specialty surfaces. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting detailed analyses of logistics data to identify trends and inefficiencies, managing third-party vendor relationships, and implementing strategies to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs. Your responsibilities will include conducting in-depth analyses of logistics data to uncover trends and opportunities for improvement, overseeing vendor relationships to ensure compliance with contracts and performance standards, and developing detailed reports and visualizations to communicate your findings to stakeholders. You will also be tasked with implementing strategies to streamline logistics processes, collaborating with internal teams and external vendors to coordinate logistics activities, and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and company policies. This position requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative spirit to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of logistics data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Oversee third-party vendor relationships, ensuring compliance with contracts and performance standards.
  • Develop and present detailed reports and visualizations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Implement strategies to streamline logistics processes, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
  • Work closely with internal teams and external vendors to coordinate logistics activities and resolve issues.
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Data Science, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in logistics analysis and vendor management.
  • Strong ability to analyze large datasets and identify meaningful patterns.
  • Proven experience in managing third-party vendors and ensuring compliance with performance standards and KPIs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present data findings clearly.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail when working with complex data.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
