About the position

The Logistics Analytics Manager for Network Strategy at TJX Companies is responsible for driving the long-term logistics network strategy and design. This role involves leading a team of analysts to develop and maintain the logistics network strategy, performing scenario modeling, and ensuring optimal decision-making for network design. The manager will also oversee the performance and professional development of direct reports, ensuring data accuracy and effective communication of results to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver strategic business initiative assessments through planning, strategy development, and operational assessments.
• Own the 10 Year Consolidation and Service Center Network models.
• Perform rapid scenario modeling and assessment of business cases for optimal network design.
• Develop processes to assess store-level routing changes in the transportation modeler.
• Streamline logistics data ingestion to improve efficiency of model updates.
• Identify scenarios for network improvement and recommend solutions for capacity shortfalls.
• Perform analytical and data modeling related to scenario planning and ad-hoc analysis requests.
• Develop analytics to support strategic decision-making across the organization.
• Coordinate inputs and assumptions across stakeholders and educate on their impact.
• Ensure data accuracy and effective modeling techniques to produce desired outcomes.
• Communicate results through clear and concise presentation materials for key stakeholders.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of TJX Logistics' footprint, including facilities, providers, and carriers.
• Manage, coach, and mentor direct reports for successful execution of responsibilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree Required, Advanced Degree Preferred or equivalent work experience
• 5-7 years' experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, or Finance
• Advanced analytical skills
• Experience in delivering recommendations to executive leadership
• Experience leading and developing a team
• Experience working with large data sets
• Strong technical aptitude (e.g., Excel, SQL, Access, PowerBI)
• Knowledge of Python and Network Modeling Software is a plus
• Understanding of Logistics, Supply Chain, and Financial KPIs
• Attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment
• Track record of learning and developing new analytical skills and technical knowledge.
