About the position

The Logistics and Inventory Associate plays a crucial role in managing inventory and logistics operations within the Lifestyle Brands division of SC Johnson. This position involves cross-functional collaboration with material planning, shipping/receiving, and inventory departments to ensure accurate inventories and timely movements of materials throughout the network. The associate will oversee cycle counting, coordinate shipments, and maintain accurate inventory records using ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Set up transportation and movements in the ERP system for material transfers between storage locations and manufacturing sites.
• Organize and assist with cycle counting within the Soapbox, ensuring counts are completed on time and discrepancies are investigated.
• Set dock appointment schedules, take delivery and pick up requests, and record adherence.
• Make necessary inventory moves and adjustments to maintain accurate inventory within SAP.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 4+ years of relevant experience in logistics, planning, or manufacturing; logistics and/or inventory analysis experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of material management systems such as SAP, TMS, and WMS.
• Solid understanding of internal/external supply chain principles, processes, and systems, including order management, transportation, and warehousing.
