About the position

The Logistics and Operations Coordinator at Westview Concrete Corp is responsible for overseeing the scheduling and dispatching of ready-mix concrete deliveries from three plants. This role involves managing daily operations, ensuring timely deliveries, and handling sales and customer service tasks. The ideal candidate will have experience in the concrete industry and possess strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the scheduling of ready-mix concrete deliveries and ensure on-time deliveries.
• Determine driver utilization and effectively manage workloads.
• Create a daily schedule for drivers and other employees across all locations.
• Complete over the phone sales with contractors and potential customers.

Requirements

• Experience in the concrete/ready-mix industry required.
• Experience with dispatching or logistics management.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks.
• Demonstrated ability in problem-solving and organization.

Nice-to-haves

• Associate or bachelor's degree in logistics or related field is highly preferred.
