About the position

The Logistics and Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of shipping, receiving, and delivery of food products. This role includes managing a team of Drivers and Warehouse Associates, ensuring efficient logistics processes, and maintaining inventory accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Routes and ensures proper loading and delivery of all products daily
• Ensure quality daily receiving, picking, and stocking of all products
• Ensure proper completion and flow of all picking and receiving paperwork for products sold
• Keeps schedule of inbound product orders
• Ensures proper scanning and verifying of picked order items
• Responsible for the proper completion of delivery copies of Bills of Lading and invoices by the Drivers
• Plans, assigns, and directs daily activities of Warehouse Associate and Drivers
• Directs training programs for new Warehouse employees and Drivers
• Manages Inventory daily and lead cycle counts.

Requirements

• 5 Years Warehouse / Logistics Manager experience, preferably in foodservice
• Management experience is required
• Able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Able to write routine reports and correspondence
• Able to communicate clearly to customers and employees of organization
• Knowledge of general math skills
• Able to solve practical problems and interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
• Must have strong attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
