About the position

The Senior Manager - Logistics and Warehouse Operations is responsible for leading and managing the operational aspects of a federal emergency response capability, including logistics, warehousing, and vendor services. This role focuses on strategic planning, continuous process improvement, and personnel development to meet business and financial objectives while ensuring positive customer experiences. The position requires effective delegation, performance tracking, and integration of organizational changes to drive operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, planning, and direction to ensure business objectives and financial goals are achieved.
• Effectively communicate performance results, business plans, and resource needs to senior management.
• Establish divisional goals for the team and hold self and team accountable for timely completion of assignments.
• Partner with sales counterparts to ensure effective territory planning for profitable revenue growth.
• Oversee equipment management practices and ensure compliance with audits and reviews.
• Recruit, train, and develop employees, providing ongoing feedback and stretch assignments for high-potential team members.
• Manage account receivables collection activities and ensure billing accuracy for regulatory compliance.
• Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives within the division.

Requirements

• 7 years of management experience required.
• 5-7 years of experience in healthcare, hospital industry, medical equipment, and services preferred.
• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• Demonstrated financial acumen and expertise in financial analysis and communication.
• Experience with Profit and Loss (P&L) statement and budget management.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
