About the position

The Logistics Asset Manager I position at Invictus International Consulting, LLC involves overseeing the transportation of both classified and unclassified intelligence IT equipment globally. This role is critical in ensuring that logistics operations run smoothly and efficiently, particularly in the context of the Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence Community (IC) environments. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing customs issues related to worldwide transportation, ensuring compliance with regulations, and working closely with customers and funding personnel to secure the necessary funding to meet logistics requirements. In addition to transportation oversight, the Logistics Asset Manager I will provide support in various logistics functions, including acquisition assistance, logistics management, and maintaining an operational spares program. This includes managing an equipment and spares database, shipping and tracking logistics, and ensuring Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM) compliance. The role also requires the ability to write technical documentation, including user guides, manuals, and other technical publications, which necessitates a solid understanding of grammar and technical writing principles. The position requires the maintenance of a current internal documentation library and the use of various word processing and presentation tools such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Visio. The Logistics Asset Manager I will gather technical information and prepare written text to support operational documentation needs, ensuring that all materials are accurate and up-to-date. This role is essential for maintaining the integrity and efficiency of logistics operations within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the transportation of classified and unclassified intelligence IT equipment globally.
  • Manage customs issues for worldwide transportation.
  • Collaborate with customers and funding personnel to ensure appropriate funding is available for logistics requirements.
  • Assist in acquisition, logistics management, and operational spares program management.
  • Maintain an equipment and spares database, including shipping and tracking logistics.
  • Ensure compliance with Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM) regulations.
  • Prepare and maintain operations documentation, user guides, manuals, and technical publications.
  • Gather technical information and prepare written text for documentation purposes.
  • Maintain a current internal documentation library.
  • Utilize Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and other tools for documentation and presentations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institute in a relevant field; or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience in logistics or asset management.
  • Experience working in a DoD or IC environment is desired.
  • Current active TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a CI polygraph.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with logistics management software.
  • Familiarity with customs regulations and compliance processes.
  • Strong technical writing skills and attention to detail.
