About the position

The Logistics Asset Manager III position at Invictus International Consulting, LLC is a full-time role based in Colorado Springs, CO, requiring a TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a CI polygraph. This position is critical in overseeing the transportation of both classified and unclassified intelligence IT equipment globally. The successful candidate will be responsible for navigating customs issues related to worldwide transportation, ensuring that all logistics requirements are met efficiently and effectively. In this role, the Logistics Asset Manager will collaborate closely with customers and funding personnel to secure the necessary funding to meet logistics demands. The support provided by this position extends to various logistics management tasks, including assistance in acquisition, managing equipment and spares databases, shipping and tracking logistics, ensuring Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM) compliance, and overseeing an operational spares program. The candidate must possess a solid understanding of basic concepts, including grammar, as they will be responsible for writing technical documents and maintaining operational documentation. The Logistics Asset Manager will also be tasked with gathering technical information, preparing written text, and maintaining a current internal documentation library. Proficiency in multiple word processing and presentation tools, such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Visio, is essential for success in this role. This position is designed for a senior-level professional with a strong background in logistics and asset management within a defense or intelligence community environment.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the transportation of classified and unclassified intelligence IT equipment throughout the world.
  • Work on customs issues for worldwide transportation.
  • Collaborate with customers and funding personnel to ensure appropriate funding is available to meet logistics requirements.
  • Assist in acquisition, logistics management, and equipment and spares database management.
  • Manage shipping and tracking logistics and ensure SCRM compliance.
  • Oversee an operational spares program.
  • Write technical copies of various document types and maintain operations documentation, user guides, manuals, and technical publications.
  • Gather technical information and prepare written text.
  • Maintain a current internal documentation library.
  • Utilize multiple word processing and presentation tools such as MS Word, PowerPoint, and Visio.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institute in an area applicable to the position; an additional 4 years of experience can be substituted in lieu of a degree.
  • Minimum six (6) years of relevant experience in addition to education level.
  • Experience working in a DoD or IC environment is desired.
  • Current active TS/SCI clearance, with the ability to obtain and maintain a CI polygraph.
