About the position

The Logistics Associate is responsible for building and maintaining customer relationships while coordinating day-to-day tasks to meet client expectations. This role supports billing, account setup, and other operational tasks, upholding the company's core values of Ethics, Engagement, and Excellence.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with clients, carriers, and internal teams to manage and resolve billing and/or rate issues.
• Manage aspects of account setup including generating web users, EDI, BOL, and carrier account numbers.
• Execute daily transportation needs, including tracking and scheduling shipments, and communicating status updates with internal teams and clients.
• Identify opportunities and offer recommendations to implement solutions and improve cost efficiency by analyzing client's shipment data.
• Manage and resolve daily carrier service issues, failures, and delays.
• Perform critical customer service functions, including daily interface with assigned clients, order building, expediting, load tendering to LTL and TL incumbent carriers, and event exception management.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

• Strong computer skills with working knowledge of MS Office Software: Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing using professional etiquette.
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work as a team.
• Ability to provide sound problem solving.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and with minimal guidance.
• Experience analyzing and interpreting written material and quantitative data to draw conclusions and make recommendations.
