About the position

Ecolab is seeking Logistics Associates to support the opening of a new logistics warehouse in High Point, NC. This role is crucial for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of customer orders, including picking, packing, and shipping. The position also involves material handling and maintaining inventory accuracy, contributing to the company's mission of providing essential cleaning and maintenance products and services.

Responsibilities

• Manually pick full-case orders and stack them onto pallets using a scanner/tablet.
• Ensure proper staging and identification of orders once picked.
• Use equipment such as manual pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks, reach trucks, and propane lifts to move pallets.
• Verify quantities, quality of items, and proper labeling of products being shipped.
• Examine packaging and contents for quality assurance.
• Verify packaging information against packing lists and SAP.
• Coordinate with departments like customer service and production.
• Manage shipping box assembly and label preparation.
• Load trailers with packed boxes and pallets.
• Identify quantity discrepancies and communicate with supervisors.
• Maintain cleanliness of the picking area and pull completed orders for packing.
• Follow all safety and warehouse procedures.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED.
• 1 year of warehouse experience.
• 1 year of reach truck operator experience.
