About the position

The Logistics Client Support Representative at OEC Group is responsible for providing exceptional customer service in the import freight forwarding sector. This role involves assisting customers with their logistics needs, managing communication, and ensuring the smooth movement of freight. The representative will utilize their bilingual skills in Korean to effectively communicate with clients and support various departments within the company.

Responsibilities

• Creating internal customer profiles in CargoWise to provide detailed customer information to all departments.
• Assisting customers in making suitable choices for their logistics needs using best judgment and knowledge.
• Providing quotations to customers as required.
• Coordinating with customers and other departments to ensure smooth freight movement by providing tracking information and shipment updates.
• Building excellent customer relationships through effective communication via phone or email.
• Handling special requests from customers and sending new shipment bookings.
• Validating and confirming all ocean/air shipment bookings from origin to destination to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Managing daily emails and phone calls from customers and other offices/departments regarding respective accounts.
• Directing customer questions and concerns to the correct department as needed.

Requirements

• Fluency in Korean is required.
• 1+ years of import freight forwarding experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Experience dealing with a high volume of data entry.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
