About the position

The Logistics Coordinator at Land O'Lakes, Inc. is responsible for expediting and routing the movement of outgoing orders, confirming customer orders, and arranging pickups for delivery. This role involves preparing and examining shipping documents, ensuring effective communication regarding transportation and shipment details, and maintaining accurate records of shipments.

Responsibilities

  • Expedite and route movement of outgoing orders.
  • Confirm orders from customers and arrange pickup of loads for delivery.
  • Prepare and examine bills of lading to determine shipping information.
  • Communicate internally updates regarding transportation and shipment details.
  • Create and monitor labels and data for shipments.
  • Determine method of shipment and prepare bills of lading, invoices, and other shipping documents.
  • Coordinate and schedule for pick-up of shipments.
  • Prepare and organize data for shipments with various products and quantities.
  • Keep records and confirm data with customers for shipments.
  • Assist in coordination of labels for locations on physical inventory.
  • Assist in transferring production requests.

Requirements

  • High School diploma/GED (required)
  • 1-year office or administrative experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Nice-to-haves

  • Associates degree or higher (preferred)
  • 1 year in a warehouse or manufacturing support role
  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems.
