About the position

As a Logistics Coordinator at Sunrise Logistics, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional logistics solutions and customer service. Your primary responsibility will be to efficiently coordinate with customers, internal warehouse operations, and transportation teams to ensure smooth logistics processes. This position requires a proactive approach to managing customer logistics orders and service requests, ensuring that all tasks are completed accurately and in a timely manner. In this role, you will process customer logistics orders and service requests, coordinating with various internal departments to fulfill these orders. You will be responsible for scheduling delivery appointments for outbound transportation orders and providing regular status updates to customers. Effective communication will be key, as you will need to resolve customer concerns through excellent order management and customer service practices. Additionally, you will ensure that invoicing of orders is done on time and accurately, contributing to the overall efficiency of the logistics operations. The Logistics Coordinator position is a Monday to Friday role, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, allowing for a structured work schedule while engaging in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Responsibilities

  • Process customer logistics orders and service requests accurately and efficiently
  • Coordinate with internal departments to fulfill customers' orders and requests
  • Schedule delivery appointments for outbound transportation orders
  • Provide regular status updates to customers
  • Resolve customer concerns with effective communication, excellent order management, and customer service
  • Ensure on-time and accurate invoicing of orders

Requirements

  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalency required
  • Previous customer service experience is preferred
  • Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and have high attention-to-detail
  • Procedural mindset with ability to prioritize and efficiently manage high e-mail volume
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers via email and phone
  • Previous experience in Produce and Logistics industry is preferred
  • Ability to perform, collaborate, and effectively work with others in a team based environment
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Computer-savvy with a working knowledge of logistics software (ERP) is preferred
