About the position

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing the physical and administrative tasks related to the shipping, receiving, storing, and distribution of various merchandise and materials. This role involves inspecting goods, maintaining records, and ensuring efficient order fulfillment in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical and administrative tasks involved in shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing merchandise and materials.
• Inspect goods received against purchase orders or invoices and maintain records of goods.
• Package and prepare products for final shipment, including posting weights and shipping charges.
• Lift heavy items and operate a forklift as needed.
• Prepare and maintain records of merchandise shipped.
• Review customer orders and distribute merchandise in inventory warehouses or distribution centers.

Requirements

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-paced, urgent environment.
• Experience working with carriers to resolve inbound and outbound issues.
• Knowledge of Oracle Enterprise, OTM, Microsoft Office, and general computer skills.
