About the position

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the supply chain process, ensuring efficient inventory control, and facilitating seamless production planning. This position requires strong negotiation skills and the ability to procure materials effectively while maintaining optimal stock levels. The Logistics Coordinator will also utilize tools such as Tableau for data analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inventory control processes to ensure accurate stock levels and minimize discrepancies.
• Coordinate production planning activities to align with demand forecasts and supply capabilities.
• Negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable terms for purchasing materials and freight services.
• Manage materials procurement to support production schedules and operational needs.
• Utilize Tableau for data visualization and reporting to enhance decision-making processes.
• Collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure efficient storage, handling, and distribution of goods.
• Monitor freight logistics to optimize transportation costs and delivery timelines.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, shipments, and supplier communications.

Requirements

• Proven experience in logistics coordination or related field is preferred.
• Strong understanding of inventory control principles and materials management practices.
• Proficient in production planning methodologies and techniques.
• Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of successful supplier interactions.
• Familiarity with data analysis tools such as Tableau is a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of logistics operations.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise with various stakeholders.
