About The Position

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for coordinating daily supply operations within the warehouse, ensuring that work assignments are completed accurately and on time. This role focuses on improving processes and leveraging systems to enhance efficiency in daily workloads. The coordinator collaborates with staff to manage inventory levels proactively and utilizes system analytics to inform decision-making, contributing significantly to the overall performance of the supply chain team.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of supply chain related experience, including logistics and warehouse operations.
• Associate's degree in Healthcare, Business, Finance, or Logistics/Supply Chain Management.
• Valid State of Michigan driver's license with no restrictions.
• Strong organizational, time management, and process management skills.
• Working knowledge of supply chain systems and computer applications.

Nice To Haves

• 3 or more years of supply chain related experience in a healthcare environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Business, Finance, or Logistics/Supply Chain Management.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily supply operations of warehouse personnel.
• Ensure daily work assignments are completed accurately and timely.
• Improve daily processes and leverage systems for efficiency.
• Manage inventory levels and utilize system analytics for decision-making.
• Support warehouse personnel in receiving, order picking, and delivery processes.
• Conduct hilo certification tests and maintain records of certifications.
• Assist in inventory management and set inventory levels based on ERP analytics.
• Monitor supply usage patterns and recommend adjustments to inventory levels.
• Document accuracy errors and facilitate discrepancies for inventory items.
• Coach and train other inventory control staff and distribution technicians.
