About the position

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing communication with company representatives and customers, processing orders, and ensuring high-quality customer service. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work under time constraints while fulfilling customer requests accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with company representatives and customers via phone or email and receive orders.
• Answer emails and calls in a timely, accurate, and professional manner, with a response time of 15 minutes.
• Understand customer requirements to gather and utilize necessary information correctly.
• Process orders accurately using customer and company applications.
• Generate required documents such as packing slips, bill of lading, airway bills, and manifests.
• Review own work to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Understand time constraints including cutoff times and carrier requirements.
• Complete necessary follow-up to ensure customer requests are fulfilled.
• Process and analyze required reports, including daily checklists and weekly reports.
• Solicit customer feedback to improve service skills and provide leads to the sales group.
• Receive and resolve complaints regarding service failures.

Requirements

• Experience in supply chain management or logistics coordination.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in using computer systems for order processing and documentation.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with customer service in a logistics environment.
• Familiarity with generating shipping documents and reports.
