About the position

Haversack Logistics is seeking a part-time Logistics Customer Service Representative to interact with customers, carriers, and brokers, addressing inquiries and resolving complaints related to shipping. The role focuses on ensuring optimal performance and security in logistics operations while maintaining customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Interacts with customers, carriers & brokers via telephone, email, online chat, or in person to provide support and information on products or services.
  • Collects and enters shipment details into the company platform.
  • Fields customer, carrier and broker questions and complaints; forwards issues beyond knowledge to the assigned specialist or appropriate staff.
  • Ensures that appropriate actions are taken to resolve customers' problems and concerns.
  • Maintains customer accounts and records of customer interactions with details of inquiries, complaints, or comments.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Customer service experience required.
  • Excellent communication skills including active listening.
  • Service-oriented and able to resolve customer grievances.
  • Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software.
