About the position

The Logistics Data Analyst position at the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) involves planning, developing, and implementing logistics data support strategies. This role serves as the primary interface between Logistics Information Services and military service program managers, ensuring that logistics requirements and procedures meet customer needs. The analyst will represent Logistics Information Services in various meetings and briefings related to weapons systems programs.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for Logistics Information Services planning, development, and implementation of logistics data support strategies.
  • Act as the initial interface point between Logistics Information Services/DLA and military service program managers, project equipment specialists, and commercial/organic product support integrators.
  • Ensure requirements and procedures meet DLA/Service and other customer needs.
  • Serve as the Logistics Information Services representative during meetings, briefings, and conferences regarding systems and policies for weapons systems programs.

Requirements

  • One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-07 level in logistics and life cycle management.
  • Experience in planning and implementing logistics data support requirements.
  • Ability to research, analyze, and report on logistics issues.
  • Technical expertise in developing innovative solutions for logistics data support.

Nice-to-haves
