About The Position

As the Logistics Engineer you will be responsible for implementing and continuously improving all logistics processes to maximize efficiency and productivity. You will apply lean manufacturing principles to assist with the implementation of efficient and competitive logistics solutions, coordinate with engineering, manufacturing operations, and supply chain functions to define critical parameters and develop plans for process control and improvements. Additionally, you will maintain the internal logistics process engineering standards, knowledge, and tools, assuring their implementation in current and new operations. Evaluating logistics processes and workflows, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions for process-related concerns will also be part of your responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Degree or equivalent experience desired.
  • Knowledge of effective planning techniques and ability to contribute to operational, tactical, and strategic planning.
  • Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques.
  • Knowledge of the philosophy, principles and implementation approaches of lean manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of logistics and management for effective and efficient movement of materials and finished products.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing problem management processes, methodologies and techniques.

  • Data analytics experience.
  • MAMM/PLEX experience.
