About the position

The Integrated Logistics Finance Manager at Kuehne+Nagel is responsible for overseeing the financial aspects of logistics and supply chain operations for the 4PL Program. This role focuses on managing budgets, analyzing financial performance, and implementing cost-saving initiatives to enhance financial efficiency. The position requires strong collaboration with customers and internal teams to ensure effective financial management and compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage budgets for customer's logistics operations.
  • Support the preparation of financial forecasts and reports to support decision-making.
  • Analyze financial performance and variances, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities within the logistics and supply chain processes.
  • Monitor and control logistics expenses to ensure they stay within budget.
  • Develop and implement financial metrics and KPIs to track cost efficiency.
  • Conduct financial risk assessments related to logistics operations.
  • Develop and implement strategies to mitigate financial risks.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
  • Work closely with logistics and supply chain teams to optimize processes and improve efficiency.
  • Implement best practices for financial management within logistics operations.
  • Support strategy execution for logistics and warehousing.
  • Ensure invoicing transactions are accurately documented and billed.
  • Collaborate with customer to facilitate timely payments and resolve any discrepancies or issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of proven experience in financial management, preferably in a logistics or supply chain environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
  • Knowledge of logistics and supply chain operations.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Willingness to travel and work flexible hours if required.
