About the position

The General Manager at OnTrac is responsible for providing strategic leadership and overseeing all aspects of warehouse operations. This role involves guiding facility management in the development, production, promotion, and financial aspects of the organization's services, ensuring adherence to contracts, and managing vendor relationships. The position requires a strong focus on team engagement, operational efficiency, and performance management.

Responsibilities

• Guide and direct facility management in the development, production, promotion, and financial aspects of the organization's services.
• Direct, plan, and prepare budgets based on corporate goals and objectives.
• Evaluate the results of overall operations regularly and report these results to the Regional Operations and General Managers.
• Maintain engineered staffing levels for all positions, including coaching, skills development, and performance management.
• Ensure adherence to all aspects of the contract and work with vendors and independent contractors for accountability.

Requirements

• GED/Diploma required; bachelor's degree in Logistics or related discipline preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years management experience, with at least 2 years in a similar industry or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 6 years' experience in the industry or related field, or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• 3PL experience highly desired.
• Experience with an independent contractor model and strong negotiation skills.
• Ability to inspire a shared vision and empower a team.
• Strong organization and time-management skills utilizing MS Office Suite.
