About the position

The Logistics General Manager will oversee the daily operations of the appliance delivery and installation at the Hazelwood, MO facility. This role is crucial for ensuring the financial success, safety, and quality performance of the branch, while also providing exceptional customer service. The position requires a hands-on approach to managing both inside and outside operations, and the selected candidate will need to travel for training prior to the facility's opening.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the Branch's financial success, profitability, quality and safety performance.
• Direct oversight of all staff including office, warehouse, van operators & crew members and contracting teams.
• Responsibility over Branch expense.
• Ensure paperwork and account accuracy.
• Provide excellent service to our accounts and customers to meet all quality standards.
• Increase operational efficiencies within the branch location.
• Support all Company safety programs and monitor their compliance.
• Effective communication with all levels of the organization including other branch locations.
• Proper training of all new hires.
• Responsible for all Branch employee performance including hiring, documentation, discipline and termination, if applicable.
• Enforce and remain compliant with all Company established policies & procedures.

Requirements

• 2+ years management experience in the logistics industry.
• Strong background in the logistics industry with a focus on appliance installation knowledge.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to interact cooperatively and professionally with others.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to multi-task.
• Strong sense of urgency and attention to detail.
